It’s a tough one.
You’re looking at your portfolio, thinking, I have to create some logos for this person or that person.
Then, all of a sudden you come across something else.
You have to choose.
You might want a logo for your boss, a logo to make you stand out in the crowd, or something completely different.
There’s no shortage of free online templates, but it’s often tough to choose the right one.
That’s where we’ve put together our brand logo tutorial to help you find the perfect one for you.
Let’s start with a look at how you might get started: the right template You’re probably going to need at least two logos to go with your website, but you can always use one of the templates that comes with your WordPress hosting.
In our case, we’ll be using the template that comes free with WordPress, but there are also free templates for other platforms.
In the image above, you can see how we’ll use a simple blue background.
Next, we need to create an icon and set the background colour of the logo.
Next up, we can add some fonts to give our logo a more professional feel.
If you’ve got a background-only WordPress theme, you’ll probably want to add a few more lines of CSS to make sure the icon looks nice and solid.
Next we need a link to the template.
The default template has a link at the top, but we can change that by adding a text-area link underneath the logo image.
