If you’re still having trouble downloading Mac software updates, you’re not alone.
According to a report by MacRumors, there’s a new version of Mac OS X called Mavericks that comes with a new software update that’s causing problems with some Macs.
MacRumors claims that the update, dubbed Mac 10.8.2.0.6.0, was released on November 10, but it was reported to be not available until December 7.
According of MacRumor, Mac 10,8.x.2,8 is the latest release to come with the new Mavericks update.
Mac 10.9.x, 9.3.x and 9.4.x also come with Mavericks updates, and while the exact timing isn’t yet clear, MacRumories reports that the Mavericks update for Mac 10 with OS X 10.11.4 was released last week.
Macs are often updated with software updates as part of the Mac 10 operating system upgrade cycle, but the new update is more likely to be a major upgrade.
That said, we’ve seen a few Mac OSX software updates this year that have made some users temporarily forget about updating.
MacRumours reports that Mavericks is the first software update to cause problems with certain Macs, but Apple has not released a patch yet.
